dietary supplements
(because they may pose pos

NA Rx for Women, Y-Y,
Spontane ES and Uroprin.
i These products, manu

stamina, confidence and
performance. NCDA offi

of these products at this
time.
The U.S. Food and Drug
Administration has deter
mined the products contain
the prescription drug
ingredient tadalafil, the
active ingredient in an
approved European prod
uct to treat male erectile
dysfunction. When com
bined with certain pre
scription drugs containing
nitrates, such as nitrogyl-
cerin, tadalafil could cause
a drastic lowering of blood
pressure. Erectile dysfunc
tion is a common problem
associated with diabetes,
high blood pressure, high
cholesterol, and ischemic
heart disease. Many pre-,

treat these conditions con

Tournament canceled
The 9th Annual Martin County United Way Invitational
Two Day Team Bass Fishing Tournament scheduled Aug.
2-3 on the Roanoke River, has been canceled.
Organizers made the decision due to continued high
water and low oxygen levels in the Roanoke River and the
low number of teams pre-registered. Water still covers the
Wildlife Boat Ramp at the US 17 bridge, making it difficult
for boats to get in and out of the river.
This is the first time the tournament has been canceled
sinpe its inception, having survived Hurricanes Floyd and
Dennis in 1999 and a fish kill in 1995.
