Games and contests pertaining [Annual Reports Given At Woman's Club The February meeting of the Woman's Club, was held Friday night In the club house. Mrs. W. T. Weir, Literature chairman, assisted by Mrs. Au brey Mauney gave a delightful program on several of the North Carolina poets. Mrs. Mauney read sever*) poems wWtten by Thad Stem, Jr., of Oxford and Lucy Cherry Crisp of FaJkiand, Mrs. Weir read several prize poems of Mrs. Zoe Klncaid Brockman's and Stewart Atkins of Gastonla. During the business presided over by the president, Mrs. I. G. Patterson, the annual reading of the constitltion and by-laws were read by Mrs. P. G. Ratterree; the president appointed a committee to submit any amendment that might be made. The annual trea surers report was given, and a re port from the nominating com mittee. Mrs. I, G. Patterson and Miss. Ava Ware are to make a list suggesting members for hon orady life membership. New members were accepted. (.
