The meeting was opened with the regular opening ceremony. - The chapter officers had met before the regular meeting, to make plans for the election of of ficers for the year 1954-55 under the supervision of the agriculture teacher. M. L.. Campbell. The election of officers was the . first business transacted for the ! year by the chapter. The follow i ing officers were elected by se ' cret ballot: President, Raymond Geode. Vice president, Albert Moore. Secretary, E. F. Goode. Assistant Secretary, LeVaughn Crosby. Treasurer, Andrew Brown. Reporter, Timothy Goode Watchman, William Moore. After officers were elected the meeting was concluded with- the NFA closing ceremony. This chapter has made out its work1 program for the year. The teachers of Compact met Monday and elected officers who will act as leaders for the school in the preparation of fair projects for exhibition at the Clevelai.^ County Fair this year. The chair man for the elementary school is Mrs. Marilyn Cabiniss. The chair man in the high school is Cal T. Pass. The group is planning for representative exhibits this year from the school.
