McGlll en tertained Tuesday evening, De cember 21. at a reception honor ing Mrs. McGill's parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Weaver," who were observing their 50th wedding an niversary. The reception was giv en at the Weaver home, 508 W. Gold street. A red urn filled with holly and tied with a red bow was used lor decoration on the front porch. A large golden bell was used, on the door, and other decorations throughout the home carried out the golden anniversary theme. Guests were greeted and pre sented to the receiving line by Mrs. Charles Alexander. Receiv ing with Mr. and Mrs. Wteaver werte their only chiid. Mrs. McGlll, Mr. McGlll, and Mise Ola Moss, Mrs. Weaver's sister who lives ; with her. Mrs. B. T. Wright Invited the guests to see the wedding picture of 50 years ago, which was dis played on an oasfcl near the gift room door. Miss Annie Roberts and Mrs. Paul Horne received in the gift room and pinned a sou venir of gold - fashioned double wedding rings tied with gold ma line on each caller. Guests wtere invited to the dining room by Miss Mary Ann Foster. The dining room was In can dlelight. The refreshment table was covered with a lace cloth caught Up at each corner with a Mrs. Charles Neisler Bridge Club Hostess Members of the Queen of Clubs mtet Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Charles Neisler. Mrs. Jim my Spivey was invited to play with the regular club members. High score went to Mrs. Gene Mltchem. Between progressions, Mrs. Nelsltr served a salad plate with accessories.
