Ben T Goforth Plumbing YORK ROAD Called First Checkloan, this unique program will include three major servk-es: cash re serve, instant cash, and a First Union National Bank Check Guarantee Card combined with the present First Bank Card. These added services will make First Union National the only bank In North Carolina to orfer these particular services in a sin gle program. To qualify for one, or a com bination of services in First Checkloan, a personal line of credit from $500 to $5,000 must be approved and established for each aplicant. Neither a checking account, siivings account, nor a charge card with First Union National is nece.s.sary to establish this personal credit line. Use of the cash reserve, how ever, is dependent on a pereonal checking account with FUNB, as the reserve simply backs up an existing checking account and permits a customer to write a check for more money than he has in his chocking account. To cover the check, which will become an automatic revolving credit loan, the bank will trans fer f.mds m ihultiples of $100 from the customer’s established cash reserve into his personal checking account. A part of the program that works without writing, checks is instant cash. After an instant cash line has been approved, cash, on the spot up to the maximum established credit limit, is avail able at any FUNB office. To be combined with First Bank Card, the First Check Gua rantee Card will offer merchants the bank’s guarantee for pay ment of a customer’s check not exceeding $100. This part o-t the new loan program will establisli a dual line of credit -one with cash reserve, and one for First Bank Card. Application forms for First Checkloan are available at all First Union National offices. September 16. Blanton Is New Oak Grove Deacon !
