Little Theatre mem bers are inviting more citizens Intel ested in join ing the group to meet with them at 8p.m. at the Woman's club Thurs day (tonight). Steve Baity, the direc tor of the group, elated over audience response to the group’s first show In many seasons, said that work will begin soon on anoth- ^ er production. "We invited anyone Interested to come to the meeting tonight", said Baity. He stated appreciation to the many on-stage and off-stage performers v/ho "made our opening a success." Mrs. V/. L. McMackin has returned home from Tampa, Fla. where she visited her son and daughter- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. V/. L. McMackin, Jr. Mrs. McMackin also visited Mrs. David Cooley in Winter Haven, Mi. and Mrs. Charles Cooley in Fort Meade. The bride-to-be v/ore a white long-s’eeved party . dress designed along empire lines v/lth a white carna tion corsage, gift of the hosiesses. The refreshment table was decorated in green, yellow and white. The table, garlanded v/lth yellow daisies, Vv'as covered with a lace tablecloth and held a sHvei punch bov/I at the center. Punch was served v/lth decorated cakes and n'.'ts. A second table, also over laid wit hlace cloth, held the display of miscellaneous gifts. After Ihc hostess, assisted by Miss Elizabeth Anthony and Mrs. Scan- Morriso'n, served a delicious salad and sweet course. Mrs. Moss called the club to order and lead in the collect. Mrs. Harold Crawford delighted the members with her program on “The Art ol Drying Flowers". She described the methods used in drying flowers and foliage and showed specimens she had pre pared to illustrate each method.
