COUNTRY BREAKFAST There will be a country breakfast, bake sale and tupper- ware sale Sat., April 3 from 6 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at-El Bethel United Methodist Church. Ham, eggs, grits, home-made biscuits, jelly and coffee or juice will be sold for $2.25. Sausage or bacon with the above plates will be $2.00. Ham biscuits will be sold - for 75 cents and sausage biscuits for 50 cents. Take out orders will be available. HOT DOGS The youth of Grace United Methodist Church will have a hot dog sale Sat., Apr. 3 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. YARD, BAKE SALE Central United Methodist Church will sponsor a yard sale and bake sale Saturday beginn- ing at 8:30 a.m. in the church parking lot. Ham biscuits, sausage biscuits and coffee will be served from 8 a.m. until lunch. In case of rain, the sale will be in the church fellowship hall. GOSPEL SINGING There will be a gospel singing Sunday night at 7 p.m. at ‘Eastside Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. Featured singers will be “The Meeting Time Quartet” of Lenoir. The public is invited to attend, Rev. James Williams, pastor, said. TO SPEAK Rev. Cline Borders, Superintendent of Missions for the Kings Mountain Baptist Association, will speak during worship services on Sun., Apr. 4 at Second Baptist Church. He will speak on serious needs of local churches, the community and the denomination. REVIVAL Revival services will be held May 2-5 at Second Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Wensil, pastor of New Home Baptist Church in Anson County, will be the guest evangelist. GRIM REAPER “The Grim Reaper” will be shown at Piedmont Baptist Church on Cherryville Highway Fri., Apr. 2 at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Revival To Begin Revival services are planned April 1-5 at First Wesleyan Church of Kings Mountain. The church: is located in the 500 block of North Piedmont Avenue. The twenty-five voice choir of David Baptist Church will pre- sent an Easter Cantata “Jesus Lives” by Harold Decou, Sun- day April 4, at 7:30 P.M. The Bible outlines it, history substantiates it, and all people who have experienced the reality of His saving grace, declare it— JESUS LIVES! - The choir is directed by Mr. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Raymond Hicks, Past District Superintendent of the Georgia District. Rev. Hicks is now a General Evanelist ‘of the Tn Wesleyan Church. ~ YARD SALE The Young- Adult Class of Central United Methodist Church will sponsor a yard and bake sale Sat., Apr. 3 on the church . parking lot.
