All rural customers are urged to notify all of their cor- respondents of their new ad- dresses by July 31. The post office last July changed a majority of the rural addresses, Postmaster Fred Weaver noted. He said Postal Service policy dictates that when a change such as this occurs, all mail will be forwarded to the new address, free of charge, for a period of one year from the last day of the month in which the change was made. “As July 31 approaches, we notice that many people have not yet advised all their cor- respondents of their new ad- dresses,” Weaver said. “In order that we may better serve our customers, and to insure that’ they receive all of their mail, we ask that they come by the Post Office and pick up the forms that they need to do this before the July 31 deadline.” The 11th annual Otis D.
