Specifications may be picked up at the Citizens Ser- + vice Center on North Piedmont Avenue. The sealed proposals will be received by the City of Kings Mountain in the City Clerk’s office at The Govern- mental Services Facilities Center until 2:00 P.M. on November ° 12, 1982, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and all bid prices read aloud. No bid shall be considered or accepted by the City of Kings Mountain unless at the time of its filing the same shall be accom- panied by a deposit of cash or certified check on some bank or trust company insured by the FDIC in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. In lieu of making the cash deposit, Bidder may file a bid bond, executed by a cor- porated surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to ex- ecute such bonds.
