Good Citizens Named Good Citizens for Kings Mountain District Schools have been announced for the first nine weeks grading period. Bazaar Set The women of Bethany Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Route 3, Highway 161, Clover, S.C., are sponsoring a fall bazaar Sat., Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. until 4 pam. in the church fellowship hall. Featured items include crafts, baked goods and canned goods for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. BASKETBALL MEETING An Industrial League Basket- ball organizational meeting will be held November 15 at 6 p.m. at the Kings Mountain Com- munity Center athletic director’s -office. Guest speaker will be David Tyson Adair. He holds degrees in Jet Engine Technology, A Master of Science in Astronomy, Master | of | Science in Aeronautics . and Bachelor of To Hold Joint Meeting Science in Space Physics. He holds a private pilot’s license and scuba diving license. Adair is director of IN- TERSECT, which provides a working audio-visual presenta- tion and lecture for public groups, civic clubs, schools, col- leges and universities. Operation Santa Claus Underway In County The Mental Health Center of Cleveland County is again con- ducting its annual Operation Santa Claus drive which collects gifts for Cleveland County residents in five institutions. Collection boxes to deposit new gift items or gift wrapping paper and ribbons will be located at ‘First Union National Bank, 125 South Battleground Avenue, and the Kings Moun- tain School Superintendent’s Of- fice, 500 West Parker Street. Concert Set Saturday At Huss High School The first concert of the 1982-83 season of the Gastonia Community Concert Associa- tion is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. in the Hunter Huss High School auditorium. The highly-acclaimed Califor- nia Boys Choir, which was founded in 1969, will be presented in a two-part program.
