FULTON John Lloyd Fulton, 72, formerly of Kings Mountain, died at 3:15 a.m. August 11 at Mercy Hospital, Rockville Cen- tre, New York. He graduated from the Kings Mountain public schools and studied mortuary science for two years. He later received training as a tailor, the profession he chose to follow. While in Kings Mountain, he was a member of Mt. Zion Bap- tist Church, where he taught Sunday School and instructed in the B.T.U. He moved to Hempstead, N.Y. in 1930. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, where he was active in the Sunday School and served as a member of the Usher Board. He is survived by his wife, the former Willie Mae Adams; one daughter, Patricia Fulton of Hempstead; his mother, Mrs. Maggie Fulton of Kings Moun- tain; two sisters, Mary Eliza Turner and Johnida White, both of Kings Mountain; an aunt, Mary Christwell of Kings Moun- tain; his God-children, Beverly and James Bethea, Daniel Bythewood, and O’Linda Ross; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. GENEVA CROCKER Geneva Bell Crocker, 57, of Route 4, Kings Mountain, died (7 Cleveland and was a member of New Buf- falo Baptist Church. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. A Chester County; S.C. native, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Pearlie Jackson Bell. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, the Spiritual Choir, the Rena Burris Missionary Circle and Queen Mary Court Number 5. She is survived by her hus- band, Carl Crocker; seven sons, Roosevelt, Bobby and Carl Crocker Jr. of New Haven, Conn., and Larry, Michael, Scot- ty and Ricky Crocker of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Gracie Corene Allen of Cowpens and Byrd of Kings Mountain; four Evelyn Black of Kings Moun- brothers, David and R.A. JOHN DROZ John Edward Droz, 68, of Route 4, Kings Mountain, died Monday morning at Kings Mountain Convalescent Center. A Farfield, Iowa, native, he was the son of Hazel Brown of Floris, Iowa, and the late Lawrence John Droz. He was a World War II veteran and a retired truck driver. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Janell Bed- sole Droz; and one daughter, Lisa Droz of the home. Services were conducted Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Pied- mont Bapitst Church by the Rev. James Greene. Burial was in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
