The Honor Roll: : 6TH GRADE A HONOR ROLL Theresa Anderson, Brian Barnett, Susie Hardin, Susan Hendricks, Tina Matheson, Alex Nolen, Niroubonh KM Students Place High At the District Six Mathematics Contest held at UNCC on March 5, Kings Mountain Senior High School placed in the top ten of both contests which the school entered. ; The Algebra II team placed ninth out of 47 schools par- ticipating. This score reflects the sum of the school’s three highest individual scores. The team representing KMSHS at the Algebra II level consisted of Daryl Chen, Keith Duncan, Andrew Faust, Danny Hamrick, and Kimberly McGinnis. The team that represented KMSHS at the Comprehen- sive level placed tenth in the . Oral Comprehensive Contest out of 27 schools par-, ticipating. This team was composed of Shane Barnes, : Lisa Buchanan, Kevin In- gram, Jimmy Moretz, Robin Warlick, and Beth Webster. Danny Hamrick and Robin Warlick were the high in- dividual scorers in their respective levels for KMSHS. This is the first time that KMSHS has placed in the top ten at either level.
