wo Gore’s Piano Students Give Recital Piano students of Mrs. Marshall Gore were presented in recital May 23 at First Baptist Church and a large number of them receiv- ed special awards for achievement during the year. Presented the achievement certificate were Gene Ballard, Allison Barnett, three year certificate, Jen- nifer Blanton, Billy Cathey, Lisa Caveny, Paul Chen, two year certificate, Peter Chen, two year certificate, Holly Denton, Amy Dixon, Rame Eskridge, Leanne Farris, James Faust, Michelle Fu- jita, Brad Grigg, Stacey Grooms, two year certificate, Meredith Hancock, two year certificate, Leigh Ann Hum- phries, Amber Jordan, two year certificate, Sissy McGraw, Cheryl Perkins, Annie Robbins, Holly Smith, Mary Beth Vernon, John Webster, three year cer- tificate and Kelia Willis. Presented three year recital pins for participating in three public recitals were Jennifer Blanton, Billy Cathey, Lisa Caveny, Amy Dixon, Kevin Echols, Rame Eskridge, Leigh Ann Hum- phries. John Webster was presented a nine year pin after participating in nine public recitals. Silver Note awards went to Leigh Ann Humphries for practice, Stacey Grooms for progress and Holly Denton or most improved student. Special Tecoprytion letters from Major John Moss com- mending members of the Young Artists Junior Music Club for their excellence in musicianship in the National Federation of Music Clubs, Junior Music Festival were Allison Barnett, Allison Bumgardner, Paul Chen, Peter Chen, Amy Dixon, Rame Eskridge, Michelle Fu- jita, Brad Grigg, Meredith Hancock, Leigh Ann Hum- phries, Amber Jordan and Holly Smith. ~ National honors superior rating in the Junior Music Festival went to Allison Barnett, Paul Chen, Peter Chen, Amy Dixon, Rame Eskridge, Michelle Fu- jita, Brad Grigg, Meredith Hancock, Leigh Ann Hum- phries, Amber Jordan and Holly Smith. A Small Gold Cup for earn- ing 15 points in the Junior Music Festival went to Brad grigg, Amy Dixon and Holly Smith. Gold Certificate of National Honor for three consecutive Superior ratings in the Junior Music Festival were Amy Dixon and Brad Grigg. Medium Gold Cup for earn- ing 30 points in the Junior Music Festival was Allison Barnett.
