Bridal attendants wore
long formals of rose pink styl-
ed similar to that of the
maid’s gown and carried spr-
ing bouquets.
The junior bridesmaid
wore a floor length dress of
rose pink with white eyelet
overlay. She carried a
miniature bouquet of mixed
flowers.
The flower girls wore short
pink dresses with white
eyelet pinafores smocked in
pink. Each carried a basket
of mixed flowers.
The bridegrooms’s father
was best man.
Groomsmen were Steven
Harris, Grayson Harris,
brothers of the bridegroom;
William Bates of Henderson-
ville, brother of the bride;
John Underwood of
Asheville, Daniel Houser of
Winston Salem and Jeff
Snotherly of Elkin.
The bride’s parents enter-
tained after the ceremony at
a beautifully appointed
reception at The Cedars in
Hendersonville where the
wedding theme was carried
out in decorative details.
After a wedding trip to
Hilton Head Island, S. C., the
newlyweds will be at home in
Winston Salem.

ty theme, ‘“None For The Road” was the first place winner in
the 43rd annual National School Traffic Safety Program spon-
sored by the American Automobile Association and its
Carolinas affiliate, AAA Carolina Motor Club, and the winner
was senior Kyle Keeter of Watauga High School in Boone.
Local schools had entries in the poster contest on the overall
theme, ‘Buckle Your Seat Belts.”

where cake squares, mints,
nuts, party mix and punch
were served.
