Guido Metter, Georgia A professor in a medical school said in his first lecture, “Man has a soul and a body. That’s enough for the soul. For the next four years I'll be talking about the body.” As with the professor, so with most people - they give too much attention to satisfying the ap- petites of the body and practically none to the soul. They put everything on that which will rot in the grave, but nothing on that which will live for ever. It’s possible for you to get the things you desire, and then to wake up one morning and find that you’ve lost the most impor- tant thing of all - your soul. Our Lord asked, “What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Pioneers Clubs at Lakeshore Church. There they play games, sing, study the Bible, and enjoy activities such as camping, drama, and woodworking. : Lakeshore's club is one of more than 3,000 Pioneer Clubs in the United States, Canada, and some 30 other countries.
