Tim "The Bonecrusher" Postell . of Kings Mountain won the /~ Carolina Martial Arts Association's ~. super heavyweight title belt at a { full contact karate contest last / weekend in Gastonia. 7 The 281-pound Postell defeated John "The Eliminator" Rogers on a second round TKO. Postell and Rogers had met before in a Kings Mountain tough man contest where Postell won on a second round TKO. Rogers wanted a second shot at Postell so the two were scheduled Thirteen Blue Ridge Swim League clubs participated in the Great Pumpkin Invitational held recently at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center. Almost 50 Sharks Aquatic Club swimmers attended the two-day event. Emily Griffin took top honors in three events, 11-12 50 yard freestyle, 50 yard backstroke and ' 100 yard backstroke. She also placed second in the 100 yard indi- freestyle, and third insthoud0 yard freestyle: a Pri 2 t Pro wrestling set 4 Friday at Armory ~ P.W.F. wrestling returns to the Kings Mountain National Guard Armory Friday at 8 p.m. The feature match will be a P.W.E. world title match between € ne champion Italian Stallion and % the Wild Samoan. Midgets from the W.W.E. ‘will also be on hand, and there will be a four-man barbed wire match with the winner being determined by the last man standing.
