GERALD DERAND PEPPERS (Kelly Anne Seawright) Seawright-Peppers David Baptist Church was the setting June 8 for the 4 p.m. wedding uniting Kelly Anne Seawright and Gerald DeRand Peppers. Rev. Claude McIntosh officiated the ceremony. Annette Webster was organist, Becky Bumgardner was pianist and Cale McDaniel and Jada Brown were vocalists for the program of nuptial music. The bride was given in marriage by her par- ents, Don and Denise Sessoms, and her grandpar- ents, Walter E. and Joyce Babb. She wore a gown of white satin fashioned with a scalloped V-d neckline edged with pearls and Juliet sleeves elaborately adorned with cut-out, reembroidered lace studded with pearls and iridescents forming Calla points over the hand. The fitted bodice, lav- ishly embellished with beaded Alencon lace medallions, formed a Basque waist which flowed into a full floor-length skirt enhanced by intricate patterns of beaded motif. The scalloped V-d back, overlaid in beaded lace, was enhanced with a large candy box bow. Motifs of Alencon lace ac- cented with pearls adorned the Cathedral train and hemline. The bride carried an arm bouquet of white daisies, white roses and baby's breath ac- cented by a white bow and lace. Lori Scruggs of Kings Mountain was matron of honor and Ashley Seawright of Kings Mountain was maid of honor. Both are sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Karla Moore, Catherine Moore, Rhonda Falls, Tonya Hall, Brenda Layton, Cheryl Campbell, LeAnn Smith and Wanda Whetstine, all of Kings Mountain, and Bobbi Mauney of Shelby. All the attendants wore Premier blue floor- length gowns and carried arm bouquets of hot pink, lavender and pink Gerber daisies. Christy Whetstine and Krista Smith were flow- er girls. Ringbearers were Vince Campbell and Chad Whetstine. V-6 Engine, Automatic, Air Condiffoning, Child Seats, Driver's Side Sliding Doors, Cruise Control, Tilt Steering, Power Mirrors, MRS. DANIEL HOWARD HOUSER (Amanda Michele Hambright) Hambright-Houser Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Howard Houser, who were wed Saturday, are on a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico and afterwards will reside in Vale. Amanda Michele Hambright became Houser's bride in a ceremony in Kings Mountain's First Baptist Church. Rev. Morris Jordan officiated the ceremony for which Melissa Hambright was vocal soloist, Shane and Alesa Doty presented a duet and Karen Brackett was pianist for the program of nuptial music. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown from the Ginza Collection. The Sweetheart neckline was adorned with pearls. The bodice had the "Sunburst Explosion" effect with pearls and sequins that ex- tended to a Basque waistline which came to a point in the center. The puffed sleeves also were enhanced with sequins, pearls and lace overlay which came to a point at the wrist. The back of the gown had satin buttons extending from the neckline to the satin bow at the hipline. The Cathedral-length train had a peek-a-boo effect and was trimmed with pearls and sequins. The fingertip veil was attached to a band of flowers, pearls and sequins. She carried a cascade bou- quet of white roses, hot pink alstromeria, mini carnations and ivy. Melissa Hambright was her sister's maid of honor and bridesmaids were Laurie Pyrtle of Reidsville, Michelle Cabe of Brevard, Marci Houser of Vale, sister of the bridegroom, and Jackie Hartman of Lincolnton. All the attendants wore short-sleeved fuchsia crepe Ciara gowns designed along empire lines with fitted bodices, buttoned backs and long skirts. They carried cascade bouquets of white daisies, purple statice, white roses, hot pink al- stromeria and mini carnations. See Houser. 2-R MRS. SEAN PALMER RAMSEY (Stephanie Lynn Jones) Jones-Ramsey Sharon United Methodist Church in Shelby was the setting for the June 8 wedding of Stephanie Lynn Jones and Sean Palmer Ramsey. The Rev. Charlie Gibbons officiated the cere- mony for which Sally Blanton was organist and Shane Hammett was vocal soloist. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal all-lace gown enhanced by an open-beaded back and carried a bouquet of daisies. Christy Jones was maid of honor and Paula Moss and Sharon Jones were bridesmaids. They wore plaid green and white dresses with Western boots and carried bouquets of daisies. Flower girl was Casey Ramsey. Ringbearer was Ryan Ramsey. Best man for the bridegroom was his father. Jason Ramsey of Shelby and Phillip Ramsey of Boiling Springs ushered. The bride and bridegroom hosted the reception after the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. The bridegroom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 7-in the church fellowship hall which featured barbecue with all the trimmings. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jones and Ms. Sally Broome, all of Kings Mountain, are parents of the bride. A 1993 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, she attended Gaston College. She will be a student at Carolinas Medical School of Nursing in the fall. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ramsey of Kings Mountain. A 1987 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, he served in the United States Navy for six years. He is employed by Freightliner in Mount Holly. The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. MRS. CLIFFORD JOHN MEEKS (Elizabeth Neal Snow) Snow-Meeks Winston-Salem's First Christian Church was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Elizabeth Neal Snow and Clifford John Meeks. The Rev. Robert K. Eldredge, minister of Orange Chapel Methodist Church in Chapel Hill, officiated the ceremony for which Bill Rainey, or- ganist, presented the nuptial music. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She ‘wore a white silk floor-length gown de- signed with portrait neckline and fitted Basque bodice enhanced by Venice lace. The full silk skirt was accented with silk bows in the back. A de- tachable Chapel train added the finishing touch- es. The headpiece was a mantilla made of Brussels lace that was worn by her mother. Jennifer Venezia attended the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Parker of Matthews, Leila Nawaz of Chapel Hill and Faith Yelton of Gastonia. Erica Openlander of Auburn, Indiana was flower girl. The bridegroom's father was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Openlander of Auburn, Indiana, Robert E. Snow Jr. of Graham and Michael D. Powell of Rochester, Indiana. The bride's parents entertained after the cere- mony at a reception at Old Town Country Club in Winston-Salem. The bridegroom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Friday night at Piedmont Club in Winston-Salem. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eric Snow of Graham and the grand- daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Glenn Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Snow, all of Winston- = Salem.
