In another matter Monday night, the Council authorized sending certified letters to some residents of Moss Lake who are delinquent in the payment of their leases. Maney said if the property owners donot pay their delinquent leases, in an- other 30 days the city will begin pursuing litigation. Maney said the city hasn't been aggressive in pushing for payment of leases and there is approximately $10,000 to $15,000 due the city from some property owners. Maney said most residents of Moss Lake have always paid for their leases on time. "These are not the people we're talking about," he said. "The ones we are talking about know who they are.” Maney noted that the city will do everything possible to collect the money #fsom posting property, litigation 8r removing the property" if necessary. It's time to get serious," he said.
