Page 10A Briefs THE KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD Dot's Day Care -holds graduation The fourth annual graduation program of Dot's Day Care was held recently at Christian Freedom Baptist Church. The theme was "Shakin' the Sillies Out." The graduates, along with the two and three-year-old class and the four year olds, per- formed and welcomed their family and friends. Following their performance, the four and five year olds performed before the graduates went off to get dressed in their caps and gowns, and the four year olds joined their parents. While the graduates were getting dressed, the toddlers put on their part of the "Show Time." The toddlers were seated in time for the two and three- year-old class to perform their part of the "Show Time." This class was seated in time to see the graduates enter to "Pomp and Circumstance." Graduates were seated for a brief teacher recognition time. Special teachers Dot and Ken Smith were recognized as the owners and operators of the center. Other teachers recog- nized with monetary gifts were Darla Bridges, Deda Shepard, Joy Wood and Debbie Ross.
