He changed the name in June of last year to Weir Builders when he also worked from 817 Floyd Street in Kings Mountain. But the property has recently been changed into a car graphics and vinyl service business called Weir Graphix. The story has exploded in counties surrounding Kings Mountain. Detective Mark Craig of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department says that the case is still under investiga- tion. It isn’t clear Weir has abandoned his house in Shelby, according to Craig. “I spoke with Weir on Monday, and he said he’s ‘away on business,” he said. While the case is still open, no other counties are putting a warrant out for his arrest. Victims in Charlotte have filed a warrant for Weir's arrest with the Mecklenburg Sheriffs Office. The charge is a Misdemeanor for failure to work after paid. “A minor misdemeanor charge is nothing. You put all this in the papers fine, but what about those of us who are left without money? This is a huge case, and nothing being done,” states Marlina Curtis. The long-time divorced Marlina still has a 26 year-old- daughter in college. She is just one of many who said that they feel like they have been victim- ized by Weir. xd ~Bo, Grade 8 Sr ($265 Value) Expires 6-27-08 Hablamos Espafiol_ poms amin WG = aa
