ds . .aOOD EARTH BAZAAR SATVRDAY-Membera of the Good Earth Garden Club will open tbelr second annual dirlatnuM Basaar Saturday morning In the Depot Center. Mrs. Jackie Sclam, left, and Mrs. Jerri Good Earth Garden Club Bazaar Set hler Country Holiday II, second annual basaar sponsored by Good Earth Garden Club, opens Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m. at KM Depot Center. The Depot Center will be transformed Into a Christmas holiday house with a Country Store, a Christmas Shop, and Oafts, many of which are handmade by the mem bers of the club. All proceeds from the basaar will be used by the ^Ihb for fuel for the needy, via the KM Ministerial Association Helping Hand Fund, to the Clothing Closet for needy children at KM District Schools, and for a Good Earth Garden Club Scholarship for a needy child. Mrs. Jeni Stinnett and Mrs. Jackie Seism, co- chairman, said members will begin serving ham biscuits, coffee and hot cider at 10 a.m. and con tinue during the afternoon. The Country Store will feature homennade baked goods, apples, apple cider, peoaat;Hpeanuts,' oM-' fashioned stick candy for a penny a stick, assorted pine cones, and canned goods. The CSirlstmas Shop will feature handmade CSirlstmas ornaments and wreaths plus Christmas bows, napkins and other items. Tile Crafts Store will feature cross-stitch, wooden dolls and book markers, among other gift Ideas. The afghan. which won first place at both the Bethware and Cleveland County Fairs, was made and donated by Mrs. Gall Cheshire.
