13 Woke 4-H’ers Participate Thirteen Wake County 4-H Club members were among the 10G girls who participated in the 1966 “Make-lt-Yourself With Wool” contest sponsored by the American Wool Council. In the junior dress division, Linda Ritchie of the Mt. Ver non Goodwin Club placed sec ond, Joan Franks of the Fair view Club placed third, and Juanita Mangum of the Riley Hill Club received honorable mention. These girls received skirt lengths of woolen fab ric and sewing notions. Other Wake County 4-H'ers participating were: Gloria Faye Dean, Melanie Ennis, and Nan cy Ennis of the Vandora Springs Club; Billie Rae Hardin, Djua na Gail Ballentine, Addie Mae Burt, Emily Mae Davis and Phyllis Rose Mclver of the Op portunity Club; Gwendolyn Gail Burton of Fuquay Club; and Phyllis L.
