R . Certainly love* mutual respect and admiration for one another. But let*s go even a little beyond these facets of a happy, well-adjusted a loved father* mother and three sons. Christianity and an abiding faith in God, have played the greatest pari in the life of Bel mous R, Ingram, a native of Montgomery County in the west ern section of North Carolina-* Presently head of the Depart ment of Science at the John W. Ligon Senior High School here, where he is also a teacher of biology, Mr. Ingram was born oq November 9, 1925, the third of ten children, the son of parents who were not in the best of financial circumstances, but in terms of hope, spirit, hard work and the feeling that ulti mately truth and righteousness would prevail, were rich and offered to their offspring in these respects, the Horn of Plenty. Learning how to live so that life would be meaningful was stressed by the parents of Del mous R. Ingram, who, at one time, drove a school bus for the county, leaving home before dawn and returning to his ten ant-farmer residence after dark, almost every day.
