(AP) - Michael Jordan is a nightmare for most NBA teams, but the Chicago Bulls' star made a paralysed 6-year-old boy’s dream come true. Kevin Hardiman of Pontiac traveled by ambulance to the hotel in this Detroit suburb where Jordan and the Bulls were staying before last Friday night’s game with the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. And Jordan didn’t let Kevin down. “He came right down to the ambulance,” said Dr. Elizabeth Contreras, one of Hardiman’s physicians in the pediatric intensive care unit at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. “I can^t believe he really took the time to care for a child. It really shows he has a big heart. ” The meeting was set up by Jordan’s goddaughter, 6-year-old Turquoise Smith, who’s also a friend of Kevin’s. Kevin and Jordan chatted for a few minutes and Jordan signed the brim of a Bulls hat for the boy, who was injured when he was hit by a car March 1. Friday’s visit with Jordan was Kevin’s first trip out of the hospital. Jordan also promises Kevin he’d think of the boy during the game, Contreras said. Jordan scored 40 points in the Bulls’ 96-91 loss. MAINTENANCE WORKER WANTED Experienced In |anltorol and maintenance duties. Set up rooms, able to lift 100-pounds. Apply at YWCA, 1012 Oberlln Rd..
