The following names have been submitted by the nomination committee: President, Wheeler Ballance; A. W. Philbrick. Vice Pres., Jesse Stamey; Secretary, Lyman Pope and Kitty Lourie; and Treasurer, Dewey' Parr. Any one present at the meeting has the privilege of nominating others of their choice, for these of fices, from the floor. The new amendment concerning member ship dues, will be voted on at this meeting. Edgar Hooper, president, and his officers have had a very suc cessful year. The club had its first inter-team Surf Fishing Tourna ment this year. Their own ’ team winning second place at this tour nament, and also taking second place at the seventh annual Nags Head Surf Fishing Tournament. Other officers are Vice President, Wheeler Ballance, Secretary, Mrs. Kitty Lourie, with Miss Amelia Ballance assistant. Mrs. Lourie took the secretaryship over from Mrs. Ormond Fuller. Treasurer, E. Hayes Fulcher. WANCHESE PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Daniels and son, Barry of Smyrna were week end guests of Mr. Daniels pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Daniels. Mrs. Julian Gray of Rodanthe visited her uncle and aunt, Wednes day, Mr. and Mrs. Folger Payne, Mr. Payne is ill at his home. Stanley Tillett of Charleston, S. C. has returned to his work af ter visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Tillett. Mr. and Mrs. George Daniels spent the week end in Norfolk as guest of their daughter, Laura Joan. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Clark of New Bern, spent the week end as guest of Mrs. Clarke’s parents, Mr. an i Mrs. Royden Tillett. Mrs. Harley Ross has returned to her home at Virginia Beach af ter visiting her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Wayland Baum and grandaughter, Anna Mae, were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Smith. Mr. and Mrs. William Forbes and son, Irving have moved here from Norfolk. At the present they are making their home with Mrs. Forbes’ parents, Ms. and Mrs. The off Wescott. They plan to build in the Spring. Misses Marsha and Lee Daugh try spent Thanksgiving in Norfolk with their father, Morris Daugh try. John Brothers and son, Fritz of Norfolk spent Friday and Satur day with Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brothers. Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Harris and nephew, Randy O’neal and Rowe na, visited relatives of Mr. Harris in Currituck Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wagstaff and children spent the Thanksgiv ing holidays in Ohio, with rela tives. Guy Ward Daniels has returned to Chowan College, Murfreesboro, after spending Thanksgiving at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Major Daniels re cently xeturned from Lake Charles, La., where they visited their son, Edward Daniels. They also visited in New Orleans, La., and Port Arthur, Texas.
