Walter Baum of East Carolina College, sepnt the week end with his sister, Nancy. Walter took Nancy to Raleigh Sunday, where she will enter St Mary’s Junior College. Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Credle and son, Walter Gray, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Hyatte Credle in Day tona Beach, Florida. Tra Jennette entertained Monday night at two tables of bridge. Those playing were Sandy Gibbs. Mrs. Berry was the former Miss Delorous Pledger of Engelhard. NEW SEAPORT The Dutch are building an en tirely new seaport—Europoort— west of Rotterdam, the National Geographic Magazine says. When opened in 1905, it will boast new steel, chemical, and oil-processing plants, and the largest dry docks in the word. The harbor will be able to handle ships up to 100,000 tons. Designed to serve the Euro pean Common Market, the port is envisioned as the “gateway to Europe.” BELHAVEN PERSONALS Carol, Charles and Roy Mar shall of Norfolk have returned . home after visiting their grand mother, Mrs. Edith Midgette.
