The Charlotte Jewish News - December 2007 - Page 2 JEWISH FEDERATION NEWS ^ Solicitors Gear Up for 2008 Annual Campaign y ■ --- - t % % % % % % i Just in time to rev up the 2008 campaign season, please mark your calendar for Solicitor Training, where facilitator Rae Ringel, President of The Rae Ringel Group, will teach us the principles behind cultivating donors, and make building rela tionships simple and rewarding. Together we will examine our attitudes toward solicitation, dis cuss how to motivate and engage prospects and donors, learn how to construct a com pelling case for support, and understand how to deal with resistance. All solicitors for the 2008 Annual Campaign are invited to attend this special training as well as those with a passion for fundraising on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 6:30 PM in the Sam Lerner Center for Cultural Arts at Shalom Park. Federation’s Annual Campaign raises and distributes millions of dollars to support and enrich the lives of Jews locally, nationally, Rae Ringel in Israel and around the world. No other fundraising effort does so much to ensure that Jewish values, goals and traditions are preserved for current and future generations. Our facilitator, Rae Ringel, is nationally renowned for her out standing repertoire of skills and interpersonal acumen. She is a leadership coach with an expert ise in transforming professional performance to drive greater business excellence. Rae engages her clients proven methodologies that pro mote professional growth on individual, team and organiza tion-wide levels.
