ABOVE: Process steam and steam for prime movers is piped directly from the existing boiler plant to the cellophane operation. Note the 20” welded steel overhead steam line on left hand side of the photograph as it passes through the pulp storage room. BELOW: In the cellophane casting room there are nine individual casting machines- In this photograph bedplates and foundations are being set for the No. 1 machine. Special steel straight edges and delicate spirit levels are used for this intricate installation.
