L. F. Dixon N. H. Collisson John C. Whitaker JOHN C. WHITAKER SPEAKS AT S. A. M. MEETING Mr. John C. Whitaker, Chairman of the Board of R. Reynolds Tobacco Company, was the principal speaker at the September 16 meeting of the Asheville Chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management. Mr. Whitaker’s topic was "Put People First In Your Plans.” He was introduced by Mr. J. Gerald Cowan of the Wachovia Bank and Trust Company. Mr. N. H. Collisson, President of the local S. A. M. group, presided at the meeting. Other members of the organization at Ecusta are Robert L Arnold, Jr., Lee M. Bauer, R. F. Bennett, Philip C. Brownell, L. F. Dixon, F. E. Field, E. B. Gar rett, M.
