'Memory Selection: , “There is one God, and there is one medi ator between God and men, the I,man Christ Jesus.” (I Timothy 2:5). Lesson Text: I Timothy. Today’s lesson is the first in a ten-session unit on “The Char ! acter of Christian Faith.” The purpose of this unit is to help adults understand several of the irrfportant characteristics of a mature Christian faith. The question for this Sunday is: (What is our approach to life when we accept God as revealed in Christ as the basis of our faith? Our lesson begins with a tes timony. Paul was grateful to God for his appointment as an 1 evangelist of the gospel of Christ. He thought of his earlier life as being a blasphemy. He had used his training and po sition in Judaism to persecute certain followers of Jesus.
