Glenn, Jr., said “Scouting offers you a world of oppoMunity to learn and do exciting things.” My son is an Eagle ^out and my daughter is a Girls Scout. I’m involved in Scout ing myself as an Associate Ad visor for an Explorer post and my ■wife, Annie was a Den mother for some years. Seven of the last 9 astronauts just appointed are former secuts and two of them Eagle scouts. Our president and all members of the cabinet have been active in scouting as boys and leaders. In Durham many bo.ys and young men have joined the boy scouts in our "GO” round-up so "ar this fall. The “GO" round-up seeks to invite more boys into the game of Scouting so they can enjoy the fund, romance, and adventure it makes possible.
