AAA Extends Grass Seed Offer Oct. 4! Lawrence Miller, Secretary of the Wilkes County AAA, an nounced Monday morning that the County Committee had de cided to allow an extra two weeks period to the farmers In Wilkes county to secure pasture trass seed. Farmers, who are signed on the AAA Program for 1947, and desiring pasture grass mixture may come by the county office any week-day between now and October 11 at 12 o'clpck.and se cure their order. For the benefit of those who do not»understand the pasture grass seed offer, we are offering two mixtures; one consists of 12 pounds orchard grass and 2 pounds ladino clover. The other mixture consists of 10 pounds orchard grass; 6 pounds redtop; and 2 pounds white dutch clover. It is recommended that 15 pounds lespedesa be seeded to the last mixture in the early spring. Farmers are cautioned to re member that Saturday, October 11, at 12 o'clock is the deadline that orders may be given for pas ture grass seed. —o - MASONIC NOTICE There .will be a special com munication of.
