E. Snow. Support the Y. M. L. A. An Ordinance Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in regular session assembled: • Section 1. Business houses and mercantile establishments which have large quantities of waste paper, cardboard boxes, containers, and other forms of cardboard and paper wrapping and packing material, shall provide a receptacle for the disposition of such material in the form of a covered box, such to be constructed of such material' and in such manner and of such size as will be approved by the fire and Sanitary authorities of tie Tdwn of North Wilkesboro and these boxes to be located at such places at the rear or side of such business houses and mercantile* establishments as may be available for this purpose. Section 2. It shall be the duty of each landlord, tenant, or storekeeper to see that the various garbage and refuse receptacles, and their contents a8 herein provided fqr, are set out at' such places and times as may be fixed by the Superintendent of the Sanitary Department. Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate this ordinance shall be subject to a Penalty of not less than five dollars for each and every offense. Section 4. This ordinance shall not and does not repeal any ordinance now in force and effect and shall be in addition thereto. Section 6. That should any part or section of this ordinance be'declared invalid by any Court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder thereof shall not be affected thereby but shall remain in full force and effect. Richard Nichols, of Wilkesboro route one. The child died Wednesday. Rev. J. E. Hays officiated at the service.
