They will be studying the Tryon mini-musical with the purpose of deciding whether “An Evening With Cole Porter” should be presented at the Greenville Little Theater later this season. People from far and wide will see the show this weekend from Thursday to Sunday at the Tryon Fine Arts enter. No doubt the spectators from farthest away are three from Japan, guests of the Ernest Burwells. (It is doubtful they are considering taking the show to Tokyo). Others are coming from Charlotte, Augusta and other nearby cities. The show is a benefit for the Tryon Arts Center, which has recently incurred some heavy expenses in rebuilding its air conditioning and heating systems. Not one penny will be paid the performers nor anyone else connected with the produc tion. Christine and Stephen Fitch, true professionals from the New York and London stage, will star in the world premier of this original tribute to Cole Porter. Performances are at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:15 Sunday. Tryon Daily Bulletin, Tues., May 20, 1980 Christian Man desires YARD FOR SALE: Rhodesian Ridge WORK during summer months.
