p T April, 1946 THE HARRIS N. C.) HERALD Page ThreS A Trip To Westfield, N. J. J. H. Simmons, Wayne, Pa. With the pastor. Rev. W. H. Warlor, and two bus loads of men, ■women and children, besides 12 extra car loads of people, we took a fine trip to Westfield, N. J. The trip was just fine on the way. We saw many beautiful flower gardens, green fields of grain, groundhog and many other things. After four hours of driving we reached Westfield, N. J. We found a fine group of people and a beautiful church. To our surprise we saw some of our friends from North Carolina: Miss Eunice Hill, of Forest City and also Mrs. Dora Twitty of Forest City, N. C. It was a pleasure to meet them. We had a fine sermon by Rev. Warlor. He preached us happy. The total amount of money raised was $156. We were served a fine dinner by the good people there. At least 350 of us were served and to my surprise when I arose from the table I weighed 213 pounds. I said then that it was time to go home. We andved home at 10:30, expressing thanks to God for hav ing taken care of us.
