Jerry Martin, also a knitter at Plant #4, and Rose Womack were mar ried on August 5 at the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown by the Rev. Bobby Roberson, After honey mooning, the couple are making their home on Route #1, Belews Creek, N.C. Congratulations and best wishes for much happiness to these newly married couples. Plant #6: Plant #6 employees attending the annual Safety Meeting in the Ed Millis Plant in Kernersville on September 19 were: Joe Dale, Jim Lowe, R. E. Sears, Charlie Kiziah, Clyde Barger, Maynard Miller, Nell LaFone, Helen Young, Betty Seitz, Madeline Cook, Donald Lail, Roy Cook, Sam Parlier, Margaret Whitener, Betty Bobbitt and Pauline Hollar. Joe Dale, plant superintendent, recently enjoyed a week-end trip to Hersey, Pennsylvania, to attend an antique car show; and, of course, he had to buy number four to add to his collection. Ronald Kiziah, son of Charlie and Cecile Kiziah, is in Naval Aviation Officer's Candidate School at Pensa cola, Florida. Wedding bells rang for Fred Mickey and Lucille Walls, of High Point, who married recently. _ Congratulations to Grandma Mil dred Stephens. She has a big grand son. Mildred is a knitter at Plant #6. Connie Wright, Larry Deal and Glenn Buckner are on the sick list. We wish a speedy recovery for them. Peggy Barringer, daughter of Mrs. Guy Barringer (looper) will star in the Broadway play, "The Odd Couple, " at Ovens Auditorium on October 13. From there, the play will tour the U. S. A. We hope Lillie Smith, of the Loop ing Department, who is out sick will be back real soon. Needless to say, Mrs. Juno Mor rison was quite happy to have her son. Captain Lenus C. Morrison, spend four weeks at home after serving with the U. S. Marines in VietNam for the past twelve months. Captain Morrison is now stationed in Albany, Georgia. Congratulations and best wishes for much happiness to Sue Hall and Ronald Wayne Fox who recently be came Mr. and Mrs. Sue is employed in the Boarding Department. Sorry to have to report that Ruby Pope is out due to illness. Hope she will soon be well. We'll miss Betty Landis, Finish ing Department, who will be out for the next six .or eight weeks to undergo surgery. Clara and Lee Workman enjoyed a recent trip to Hendersonville to see their grandson, Dennis, play football. Willie Wilson, we are happy to learn, is feeling better after a few days stay in the hospital. Mary Lou Kaylor and Jean Leon- hardt are becoming adjusted to sending tiieir little sons to school--this is their first year. Betty Meadlock, a new bride, is enjoying cooking and house work since she moved into their new home. Shirley Herman's guests, her brother and his family, are leaving for Dover, Delaware, after spending several weeks in North Carolina. Rita Campbell, a patient at Hickory
