Claude and Johnny are preparing to saddle up for their final parade through Boone, which parade marked the end of the sixth annual Daniel Boone Wagon Train. This was the third consecutive wagon train in which Claude has participated and, according to his reports, was the biggest and best ever. Mildred Hook er, Claude's wife who is also employ ed at Plant 3, was a new member of the wagon train this year and reported that she thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Another wagon trainer from Plant 3 was Frances Joyce who, with her husband, Foy, traveled in a covered wagon. The train was made up of approxi mately 105 wagons, 425 animals and 600 people, and stretched out along the road for about two miles.
