Thfe twig ' October ii , 1983 Open days held for prospective students Respective students fre- qu^tly find that taiking with ^roll^ students is their best method of leaning about the College. To assist them In leaning atx>ut Meredith, the Office of Admissions hosts a series of Open Days to invite high sdiool seniors to spend a full day on campus. Open Days 1963^ are planned for Novwnber 16 and’ February 2. Student visitors will have the chance to attend an 11:00 a.m. class, have lunch in the dining room, hear from enrolled freshmen about their ex^iences during an informa tion session, and tour the campus, if parents accompany the students, there is an infor* mation session planned for them as well, as lunch on campus and a tour. So^ enrolled students at Meredith will be requested to serve as class hostesses or tour guides for the visitors, but ail enrolled students will be influ encing the impression guests have of the College. The class room atmosphere will be especially important since for many prospective students the class visit is their only exposure to the academic program. The welcome the faculty and en rolled students extend at the opening of class, then the level of academic experience and participation play an important part in the visitor's opinion of the quality of the program here. if you have high school senior friends vrfio might be interested in attending an Open Day, please contact the Office of Admissions for information on registration. In April, 1984, there will be a Visitation Day for high school Juniors also spon sored by the admissions office. What/S KC‘83?
