Many Gallimores Have Worked At Fieldcrest It was a reunion of former Field- cresters as well as brothers and sisters when several relatives came to Leaks- ville recently to visit members of the Gallimore family. The visitors included Mrs. Myrtle Harmon, Roanoke, Va., Fred H. Galli more, Saxonville, Mass.; and Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Gallimore, Fairfax, Va. They were visiting Mrs. Jesse L. Adams (the former Eva Gallimore), James Gallimore and John Gallimore. Every Gallimore brother and sister mentioned above is a former employee or is now employed by the company. James G. Gallimore works at the Bed spread Mill. Mrs. Adams is retired from the Karastan Mill and John Gallimore (now a Rockingham County deputy sheriff) is a former Karastan employee. Mrs. Harmon was employed at the Athena Knitting Mill at Leaksville be fore the Karastan Mill was established. Fred and Paul Gallimore both worked at the Karastan Mill. They take advantage of the op portunities it offers for regular savings through payroll deduc tions and for low-cost loans when they need to borrow money. Did you know that if you saved $3.00 a week in your Credit Union share account, you would accum ulate $780 plus interest in just five years? And if you were to put aside only $5.00 a week, you I would save $1,300 plus interest in I five years, or $2,600 plus interest I in ten years. I With the Credit Union’s liberal I 4-V4% dividend rate, your sav- I ings grow at a surprisingly rapid 'f pace. I Why don’t you become a mem- I ber and “save a little every I week”? It is easy to save regular- i ly at the Credit Union. Try it. I ' A row of inspection tables in the SheetinS Mill Cloth Room, minus one operator.
