LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the 1952 Senior Class of Montreat College, being of sound ( ?) mind, do here by make our last will and testimony. It is our purpose to dispose of our posses sions as follows: To Dr. McGregor, the Senior Class would like to say, “Thank you for that which you have done for us in our four years at Montreat.” To Mr. Thatcher, we would like to ex press our appreciation for his patience with us this year. To Miss Wilson, we would like to show our appreciation and gratitude for all that she has done for us. To Mr. Miller, the “practice-teachers” would like to leave their love and heart iest best wishes for an even greater suc cess with the teachers of the coming years. To the other faculty members the Sen ior Class would like to leave their intel lectual ability in hopes they will share some of it with the rising seniors. To the new freshmen we leave our abil ity to get things done even if we do wait until the last minute. I, Martha Holman, do will and bequeath my ability to get along with the very least amount of studying to Pat Williams. I, Pat Williamson, do will and bequeath my ability as a senior class president to Colleen Story, as well as my banquet speeches that she likes so well. I, Juanita Combs, do will and bequeath my ability to be a homemaker to Frances Curry. I, Evelyn Hennessee, do will and be queath my ability to sing to Mary Ann Smoak. I, Jinx Bean, leave, (period) I, Rebecca Glenn, do will and bequeath my dimples to Martha Getsinger. I, Louise Cayton, do will and bequeath my history notes to Margaret Langston to use in her career. I, Jeanette Nash, do will and bequeath my ability to get along with Miss Smith to Helen Duke. I, Mae Hager, do will and bequeath my .''bility to remain an old maid to Faye Britt. I, Ruth McKay, do will and bequeath my ability to attract men to Frances Davis. I, Carolyn Williams, do will and be queath my ability to get along with at least “one” of the music professors to D. J. Warren. I, Betty Marshall, do will and bequeath my ability to get out a fine annual to Jolene Parks. Martha Holman leaves to Ann Broom some of those inevitable “Smitty” head aches she will doubtless encounter as Secretary of the Board. “Myrt” Williamson leaves to the mem bers of the “Rupert Club” her ability to play the ukulele. Juanita Combs leaves her love for sports to Alice Collins. Jinx Bean leaves her good reputation to anyone who can keep it after going out with Carolyn and Colleen. Becky Glenn leaves her belief in love at first sight to Jo Ella Dunaway since the men never take a second look at her any way. To Mr. Stubbs, Louise Cayton would like to leave anyone he can get to do the “dirty” work. hair to Mary Jane Gillespie. Mae Hager leaves her “Miss Ugly” title to Nancy Wallace. Ruth McKay leaves her ability to deco rate a birthday table to Leta Miller. Carolyn Williams leaves her meticulous ness to anyone who can live up to it. Betty Marshall leaves her title as May Queen to anyone who can work hard all year and still be pretty May Day. Evelyn Hennessee leaves her room to anyone who can live in it and remain sound after having a suite-mate like she did.
