The weather was perfect for a weekend of competition. Friday afternoon, Keith Cannon, a former Eagle Scout, took the Leadership Corps, Stacy Lee, Michael Hodges, and Jerry Morris to camp to prepare the camp site for Troop 58. They prepared the gateway, raised the big tent and made preparation for the arrival of the troop. Upon arrival the patrols were inspected for correct uniforms and this started their weekend of point collecting toward a blue ribbon. Both patrols spent all day Saturday making the trip to the area activity fields to perform in the contests which would give them more points toward the blue ribbon. Both patrols earned a blue ribbon.
