READY TO START MONDAY FOR 1940 CHEST DRIVE HERE Three hundred citizens of Roa noke Rapids will start Monday, November 26th, on the second an nual Community Chest drive for funds to operate a dozen charity or character building agencies during the year 1940. Every person in the city will be seen during Thanksgiving Week and asked to renew their pledge of last year on the basis of one day s salary. A meeting of the 300 work ers is being held at the High School auditorium tonight for final in structions. Below is given the names of those in the organization which will make the appeal.
