Cameron delightful ly entertained Wednesday after noon with a lovely party in honor of Mrs. Elmer Ashby, house guest of Mrs. J. J. Thompson. The home was attractive with early 1 spring flowers. The dining table was covered with a lace cloth and centered with a silver bowl of white bridal w’reath and yollow Jonquils with white tapers in crys tal holders on each end. The guests arrived at 3 o'clock and Progressive Contract was enjoyed until 4:45. Scores were added and Mrs. J. *D. Edwards was presented IXXgXX SW1C, clliu XVX.X 3* XUXXXXCX XX3HX** by, honoree was presented a love ly gift as guest. Delicious home made ice cream, salted nuts and cookies with hot coffee were en joyed at refreshment time. Guests for the afternoon were: Mesdames Elmer Ashby, J. D. Edwards, L. B. Ballen, A. O. George, George Pappendick, Gra ham Lynch, A. C. Culbreth, Jay Thompson. Mrs. T. R. Wilson came in for refreshments. Mrs. Jay Thompson Entertains Friends Mrs. Jay Thompson entertained a few friends Tuesday morning at Griffins Drug Store with a Co ca-Cola party from 10 until 11 o'clock in honor of her cousin, Mrs. Elmer Ashby, who is visit ing her from Wilmington, Del. Hot chocolate and donuts were en joyed. Those enjoying the party were Mesdames Ellis Crew, Bailey Atwell, L. B. Allen, Elmen< Ashby, H. E. Cameron, W. R. Stevens, J. D.
