MILLS NOTICE OF SALE OK REAL ESTATE BY THE TOWN OF MIRPIIY NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and Board of Com missioners of the Town of Murphy will, on Thursday April 22. 1948. at the Court House Door in the City of Murphy. North Carolina, at 1 1 o'clock A. M. Eastern Standard Time1, offer for sale to New Service Announced Often we can do very little to control prices that we must take for our farm commodities. However, farmers, dairymen ,and poultrymen can go a long way in control ling their cost of producing poultry, eggs, milk and usual farm produce. And with the high cost of these days we as farmers in Western North Carolina must do as producers of milk, pork, eggs, chickens and general commodities are doing in all sections of the country, and take advantage of every opportunity that science and research offer. Realizing this importance, the SMHHMONT FARM SERVICE is glad to announce that it has arranged for and will have the advice and services of Hunter L. Horton to work in cooperation with producers of Cherokee, Clay and surrounding counties. Mr. Horton studied poultry, dairy ing and nutritional research at our North Carolina State College and later did special work at Missouri State Col lege. He has had considerable experience in the field' of production and marketing of poultry and dairy products, and we feel that we are now in position to render our people a worthwhile service. Our Smithmont Farm Service store will be located b/i miles east of Murphy on Highway No. 64 to Hayes ville. And we shall be glad for our many friends to call upon us when we may be of service to them.
