4 Amendments Are Favored By Both Nominees Raleigh, Oct. 22.—80th of North Carolina’s gubernatorial candidates issued statements today endorsing the four proposed "tax reform” amendments to the state constitu tion. Clyde R. Hoey, Democratic can didate, endorsed also the fifth pro posed change —an amendment which would empower the general assembly to increase the member ship of the state supreme court from five to seven. Gilliam Grissom, epublican, did not comment on tha supreme court amendment.
