SEWALL TUESDAY The Women Society of the Ers kine Memorial church (Congrega tional) will meet on Tuesday after noon, Janurary 26th. with Mrs. Chas. G. Sewall at her home in Gillette Woods. The program will consist of a short talk by Miss Ethel Young on the work being done at the Katherine Beatson Health House, also a talk by Miss Agnes McLeod concerning her work with the young people in the country, especially Cooper Gap. GARDEN CLUB HOLDS JANUARY MEETING Mrs. H. C. Metcalf was the hos tess to the members of the Tryon Garden club at the January meet ing on Wednesday afternoon at her home in Columbus. A most inter esting paper was read on Audubon by Dr. Charles G. Sewall. During the business session Mrs. David L. Edsall outlined the plans for the Flower Show which will be held on Friday, April 30th, from 5 to 9 p. m.. It is hoped that the Flower Show might be held in the Shelnutt log cabin this year. Mrs. Edsall also named the classes to be entered in the show and the members to serve on her committee. At the conclusion of the program the hostess served hot tomato bouillon.
