Owen’s Pharmacy telephone 202 Spartans Are On Program For School At Clemson Two Spartan women, Mrs. Arch Walker and Mrs. A. M. Chritz bert, are among the speakers for the program to be presented by The Garden club of South Caro lina, at the Opportunity school at Clemson College, during the week of August 7 through Augst 11. The summer garden school at Clemson College, the Garden club of South Carolina and The Op portunity School are cooperating in presenting this program and will feature Mrs. Clarence E. Owens of Columbia, in a two-day course “Christmas Greens and Decora tions”; M'rs. Arch Walker of this city, will present a two-day course in covering the subject of “Stag ing and Judging Flower Shows.” Mrs. Chreitzberg will talk on “Annuals and Perennials.” The Opportunity school opened for distinctive appearance... Select now a Tryon Homespun Suit And Have It Ready For the College Man or Woman Mountain Industries Incorporated “The Prescription Store” July 22 and will continue through August 19, the week of August 7 being devoted to the aforesaid sub jects, and is sponsored by the Adult Department of the State Depart ment of Education for the old and the young. The purpose of the school is a college vacation summer school for those over 16 who. though they cannot go to day school or college, wish to become.better citizens and better homemakers. Meals and rooms will be pro vided for those attending for $5 a week or $1 per day. Fees fo| courses will be $1 for each two-day course and 50 cents for each one day course.
