Tryon Daily Bulletin, Wed., Nov. 26,1980 Childrens Choir The Children’s Intcrchurch Choir, a group of seventy singers from grades three through eight at Tryon Elementary School, will sing for the Community Thanksgiving Service at the Tryon Presbyterian Church on Thanksgiving Day at 10:00 a.m. and at the Thanksgiving Assembly at Tryon Elementary School at one o'clock on Wednesday. Mrs. Russell Cloud will direct the singers in a collection of songs of Thanksgiving. The choir was organized out of a . con } m o n interest between the churches of Tryon and the Tryon City Schools for the children to nave an opportunity to sing choral music. Several attempts had been made to organize choral groups for children.
