Four To Compete For Annual “Miss YMCA BalP Title — By James Peeler Post Feature Writer : This week gives a look at four more contestants in the Annual MISS YMCA Ball to be held Friday, November 21, 1975, at 8:00 at the McCrorey Branch YMCA at 3801 Beatties Ford Road. Music for the Ball will be furnished by The Cold Fire Express Band and Director Catherine P. Williams says --Ifs going In ha an gunning of beauty and a big party. She added, “Tickets may be pur chased from the contestants of the ball or the McCrorey Branch YMCA.” Tickets are $1.50 for students and $2.00 for adults, and further informa tion can be had by calling 394-2356. The Ball will be televised by WSOC TV and Durwood Hall will be the commentator. The contestants featured this week are: Denise Lee, daughter of Mrs. Shirley ■ ~ ' — --- Fitch of 5519 Evanshire Drive. She weighs 135 pounds and stand 5 feet one inch tall. She attends West Charlotte High School and enjoys bowling, skating, and basketball. She is a member of Mt. Carmel Bap tist Church and her zodiac sign is Gemini. Another contestant is Robin D. Hayes, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hayes and lives at 3209. Cricketeer Drive. She is a member of the Siuueni LUUMIMI—and the Volleyball team. Her favorite sport is football and her hobbies are skating and “try ing to play basketball." She is 5 feet five inches tall and enjoys making new friends. Also competing is Juantina Renee Wallace. She is the daughter of Mr. Cesar Wallace and Mrs. Ann Wallace and lives at 2612 Ken dall Drive. She is 14-years-old and a 9th grader at Coulwood Junior High,; where she is a Varsity Cheerleader. She likes to go to school, and church: -— i 4 she likes to sing, dance and go to parties and basketball and football games. She is a Scor pio and likes to talk to and meet people. The final contestant for this week is Patrice Lee, daughter of Mrs. Shirley Fitch, and twin sister of Denise. She attends West Charlotte High School, is the same height and weight of his sister and enjoys doing the same things. She is also a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, pastored bv Rev. Leon Riddick; and thinks Aquarians are her best friends.
