M., July 10th, for Water Works Improvements consisting of the following: Furnishing materials, (except the pipe and special casting), labor, equipment, etc., for trenching, lay pipe and special castings, labor, six and one-tenth (6.1) miles, more or less, of twelve (12) inch and ap proximately two thousand (2,000) feet, more or less, of sixteen (16) inch water main. Oxford Buggy Company GOLDEN WEDDING The following account of the gol den wedding of Rev. and Mrs. H. H. Sneed of Gulfport, Miss., is of inter est to people in this section, Rev. H. H. Sneed being ah uncle of Mrs. J. R. Sneefl of Oxford. The Gulfport Her ald says: Half a century ago in Chattanooga, Tenn., Rev. Henry Harrison Sneed and Miss Harriet Read were united in marriage and were attended by a large bridal pafty. Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Sneed celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding at the rectory. One member of the or iginal bridal party, Mrs. Martha Fra ter of Chattanooga, Te.nn., sister of Mrs. Sneed, who was maid of honor at the wedding came to Gulfport for the happy celebration. Since coming to Gulfport twenty years ago Mr. and Mrs. Sneed have endeared themselves to an ever frowing circle of friends who were happy to be present on this occasion and wish them bon voyage through the years to come. Both Mr. and Mrs Sneed are a part of every good thing that comes to Gulfport and neither of them ev er fail to co-operate with any agency working for the general welfare. Consequently friends of other churches, and the towns along the Coast came to gather with the con gregation of St. Peter’s curch to do honor to this splendid couple.
